Making The World Better In A Sweater

Monday 18th December 2017

Last Friday, 15th December, Performance in People (PiP) got into the festive spirit and were fundraising for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day as well as doing our company-wide Secret Santa and monthly birthday celebrations. Fundraising for this charity gives us the opportunity to wear our favourite Christmas jumpers, whilst raising money to help make a world of difference to children in desperate need.

PiP took part in the sweepstake poster, ‘Guess the Christmas Caroloke Classic’. Tim Callaghan Martin was the lucky winner who guessed Jingle Bell Rock as the answer. We are still in the process of gathering together our fundraising total so watch this space to find out how much we have raised!

SO, HOW CAN YOUR PENNIES HELP?

Your jumper could be the difference between a hot meal or no meal. It can help bring essential healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children around the world who are missing out on these basics. Your support can protect children from easily preventable yet still deadly diseases like malaria and pneumonia. And it can help reach children who are forgotten simply because they were born in a remote village, because they’re girls or refugees, have a disability or are from a minority group.

If you have not had the chance to donate yet but would like to, it’s not too late! Donate here to help make a difference >
