Carisbrooke Castle Brought to Life at PiP HQ

Friday 20th October 2017

Performance in People (PiP) is pleased to share with you our further office renovation progress at HQ. PiP recognises the importance of creating an environment that makes people feel good. We want our offices to have that ‘wow’ factor that all clients and visitors will remember.

The room improvements projects offer a great opportunity for team members to get involved, putting forward their ideas to make their office space fun, imaginative and bright. Our latest refurbishment at head office is within the Finance & HR department who wanted to design their office in line with the theme of Carisbrooke Castle.

Carisbrooke has been a central place of power and defence on the Isle of Wight for over 1,000 years. During that time, it has been a Saxon fortress and a castle of the Norman conquest, much remodelled during the Middle Ages and under Elizabeth I. Most famously, Charles I was held prisoner here during the Civil War, shortly before his execution. Since then it has remained a symbolic centre for the island, not least as the residence of its governor.

The room improvements project is just one of the many ways that contributes towards making PiP a fantastic place to work. PiP were awarded place 47 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for throughout the UK for 2017. This award demonstrates our commitment to our people and are extremely proud to have achieved this. Other benefits of working with PiP include:

  • Regular social events
  • Nationally recognised qualifications & Apprenticeships
  • Opportunity to own company shares
  • Modern staff room and facilities
  • Sophisticated meeting pods
  • Government cycle to work scheme
  • Birthday celebrations
  • Weekly delivery of fresh fruit as part of employee welfare
