2017: PiPs Journey So Far

Tuesday 27th June 2017

2017 has been a huge success for Performance in People (PiP) so far.  As we reach the middle of 2017, we’ve started reflecting on all the fantastic things we have done. Here are our highlights.

3* BEST COMPANIES & SUNDAY TIMES TOP 100 BEST SMALL COMPANIES TO WORK FOR

PiP started the year with a bang! We achieved ‘3* Best Companies to Work For’, the highest accreditation demonstrating extraordinary levels of organisation engagement. Alongside this we were thrilled to have found we made it into The Sunday Times ‘Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’, ranking at place 47 throughout the UK.

STATE OF THE UNION WINTER 2017

To celebrate our 3* accreditation and Top 100 appearance, PiP dedicated our bi-annual Winter State of the Union to celebrate Best Companies Day. Staff were given the task of planning and hosting their own tea party. In true Best Companies style, PiP hosted a random raffle to give each member of staff the chance of taking home the winnings. The top prizes which were awarded were: a 2-night weekend break for two with all expenses paid and a dinner and movie night.

PIP BABIES: ISABELLA & ARTHUR

This year we have gained two beautiful babies within the PiP family! Sporting their personalised PiP baby grow, we welcomed…

Isabella Thea Langan who was born on 7th January at 1.58pm weighing 7lbs 4oz.

And Arthur Charles Creed was born on 29th March at 4.54pm weighing 8lbs 4oz.

NEW MODULE WITHIN OUR TASTER WORKSHOP

Last month we launched a new module within our quarterly taster workshop – an introduction to how we can work with organisations to develop their explicit service standards. Organisations in any sector have an explicit set of processes and behaviour standards spelling out exactly what is expected of employees; employees need to know what is expected of them if they are to work to a given standard. This module was presented alongside our introduction to the award winning Behavioural Measurement Score® (BMS®) methodology and Continue & Begin Fast Coaching®. If you’re interested in attending our next open course, contact us directly.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE DAY AT VODAFONE HQ

We were privileged to welcome over 100 senior customer experience professionals from UK world class brands to our Customer Experience Day held at Vodafone HQ in Newbury. Delegates had the opportunity to network and share best practise whilst discussing hot topics around customer experience. Guest speakers from Specsavers featured on the day; they shared their innovative approaches around customer experience, emphasising the ways video mystery shopping has been positively embraced throughout the network. We also had the opportunity to present the award winner for our quarterly BMS® competition; Jane Talbot from Inchcape. Jane was absolutely thrilled to have claimed top place as we gave her the prestigious BMS® trophy, £500 prize and a nice bottle of bubbly!
